“The Best Of Both Worlds”
MLC’s approach to learning combines the best of both worlds: the rigorous and internationally recognised expectations of the English National Curriculum, together with the hands-on, engaging, learner-centred approach of a Montessori environment.
This enables our students to build on their natural curiosity and desire to learn, while developing important self-actualisation skills and independent study habits that will stay with them well beyond their school years.

In the first years of the Secondary School, we introduce students to a broad and stimulating programme. The curriculum comprises English, Mathematics, Science, French, Geography, History, Art, Drama, Music, Computing, PE and Games, Swimming, as well as Practical Life subjects, including Food and Nutrition.
In addition, students take part in a weekly Personal Growth lesson, attend Assembly once a week, and participate in an extensive student leadership programme.

Students choose four additional subjects from Art, Computer Science, Drama, Food and Nutrition, French, Geography, History, ICT, Swahili, Music, and Physical Education.
